5. Advertising & Tracking Technologies
We use digital advertising tools to reach potential customers and measure the performance of our campaigns. This section explains specifically how each platform is used.
5.1 Meta Pixel (Facebook & Instagram Ads)
Our website uses the Meta Pixel, a piece of code provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. When you visit our website, the Meta Pixel may collect data such as your browser type, pages visited, IP address and other identifiers, which may be processed by Meta in accordance with its Privacy Policy.
Measure the effectiveness of our Facebook and Instagram advertising campaigns;
Retarget visitors with relevant ads on Meta platforms;
Create Custom Audiences and Lookalike Audiences for advertising.
Meta processes this data as a joint data controller for certain purposes. We rely on your consent (obtained via our cookie banner) as the legal basis for this processing where required by law. For more information, see Meta’s Privacy Policy (https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy/).
We use Meta’s Privacy-Enhanced Match and Aggregated Event Measurement (AEM) features where available, to minimise the personal data transmitted to Meta while still measuring campaign performance.
5.2 LinkedIn Insight Tag (LinkedIn Ads)
M-Tech Innovations Limited may implement the LinkedIn Insight Tag in the future to measure the performance of LinkedIn advertising campaigns, create retargeting audiences, and obtain aggregated website visitor insights. As of the Effective Date of this Privacy Policy, the LinkedIn Insight Tag is not active on our website and no data is currently shared with LinkedIn through this technology. If implemented in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy and obtain any consent required under applicable data protection laws before activating the tag.
5.3 Google Ads & Google Analytics
We use Google Ads for search and display advertising and Google Analytics 4 (GA4) for website analytics. Google may collect usage data, device identifiers, and cookie-based identifiers. We use Google’s Consent Mode v2 to ensure that tracking is activated only when you provide consent. For more information, see Google’s Privacy Policy.
5.4 Lead Generation Forms
When you complete a Lead Generation Form through LinkedIn Lead Gen Ads or Meta Instant Forms, the platform may pre-populate form fields with your profile data (such as your name, email address, job title, and company name) to make it easier to submit enquiries. By submitting such a form, you agree that we will receive and process that data in accordance with this Privacy Policy. We will use this data solely for the purpose stated on the form — typically to respond to your enquiry or send you requested information.
___________________________________________________________________________
6. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell your personal data. We may share your information with the following categories of third parties, strictly for the purposes described in this Policy:
- Service providers — CRM platforms, email service providers, web hosting companies, analytics providers, and IT support partners who process data on our behalf under data processing agreements.
- Advertising platforms — Meta Platforms, Inc., LinkedIn Corporation, and Google LLC, for the ad measurement and targeting purposes described in Section 5. These platforms operate as independent data controllers under their own privacy policies.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to the buyer honouring this Privacy Policy.
- Regulatory and government authorities — where required by law, court order, or to protect our legal rights.
All third-party service providers are contractually required to process personal data only on our instructions and to maintain appropriate security standards.
___________________________________________________________________________
7. Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including legal, accounting, tax, and reporting obligations. Lead information collected through contact forms or advertising campaigns is generally retained for up to 3 years unless a longer retention period is required by law or necessary for legitimate business purposes.
